Everest Online |
| About Everest Online: | Everest Online is a large proprietary online university. It is part of Corinthian Colleges. |
| Started Using FATV: | 2008 |
| Everest Online's Goals in using FATV: |
1: IMPROVE communication to online learners by tapping into a library of hundreds of financial aid videos in a .YouTube. style format which students can relate to. 2: SIMPLIFY the language used to describe programs to make it easier for students to make sense of the various programs. 3: ENHANCE outreach efforts by adding a cost-effective, self-service resource available 24/7. 4: REDUCE the need for students to tie up phone queues and email for answers to basic financial aid inquiries. 5: SAVE money by implementing a proven turn-key solution as opposed to re-creating something from scratch. |
| Results: | The results have been very strong. Over 6,000 students have been served; over 20,000 student questions were answered in the first seven months of use. |
| Comments: | Everest Online is effectively deploying FATV through its website. |
