| About Sacramento State: | Sacramento State University is a large, public, 4-year university located in Sacramento, CA, with an enrollment of 28,000 students. |
| Contact: | Craig Yamamoto, Director of Financial Aid |
| Started Using FATV: | 2007 |
| Sacramento State's Goals in using FATV: |
1: INCREASE student understanding, awareness, and retention of financial aid information. 2: REDUCE burden on staff to answer basic financial aid inquiries. |
| Results: | Over 12,000 student questions have been answered by the FATV service. |
| Best Practices: | Sacramento State University publicizes the FATV service through its website and posters on campus. In addition, during the month of February, the Financial Aid Office generates awareness of financial aid programs at campus events. At those events, it plays a DVD of FATV video clips on a laptop screen to generate additional publicity for the online version of the service. |
